Aleksandar Živković

Early Life

Aleksandar Živković was born in 1977 in Serbia, where he began his football journey at a young age. He made his senior debut at just 16 years old with his hometown club, FK Radnički Niš. His talent quickly caught the attention of larger clubs, leading him to join the prestigious FK Partizan for a brief period before returning to Radnički Niš.

Career

Živković's professional career spanned over a decade, during which he played as a midfielder for several clubs across different countries. After his time at Radnički Niš, he transferred to FK Rad in 1998, where he continued to hone his skills. In 2000, he made a significant move to Japan, joining Júbilo Iwata, where he enjoyed success, winning the Emperor's Cup in 2003.

Following his stint in Japan, Živković returned to Serbia, playing for FK Obilić, OFK Beograd, and FK Voždovac. In 2006, he ventured to China, signing with Shandong Luneng, where he achieved notable success, winning two Chinese Super League titles and a Chinese FA Cup before retiring in 2011 after brief spells with Shenzhen F.C. and Guangzhou City F.C.

International Career

On the international stage, Živković represented the FR Yugoslavia national team, making appearances in the Kirin Cup in 2001. He also played for the Serbia men's national team during the 2008 Summer Olympics, showcasing his skills as one of the over-age players in the tournament.
