After his stint at Galícia Esporte Clube from 1990 to 1992, he moved to SD Juvenil (1993-1994) and then to Uberlândia E.C. (1994-1995). He gained prominence while playing for Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras from 1997 to 1999 and later for Cruzeiro E.C. (2000-2001) and Santos F.C. (2000, 2002). His international career included playing for Vissel Kobe in Japan (2002-2003) and Albirex Niigata (2004). Oséas also had a brief spell with S.C. Internacional and Brasiliense Futebol Clube in 2005.
