Early Life

Ricardo Lucas Figueredo Monte Raso, known as Dodô, was born in Brazil and has made a significant mark in the world of football as both a player and a coach. He began his professional career in 1992 with Nacional Atlético Clube, where he showcased his skills as a forward. Over the years, Dodô played for several prominent clubs in Brazil, including São Paulo FC, Santos F.C., and Fluminense F.C., establishing himself as a talented striker.

Career Highlights

Dodô's career spanned multiple countries, including stints in Japan, South Korea, and the UAE. He enjoyed notable success with Ulsan Hyundai Horangi in the K-League, further enhancing his reputation as a skilled forward. His career, however, faced a significant setback in 2008 when he was suspended for two years due to a doping violation. After serving his suspension, he made a comeback with Vasco da Gama, where he scored 11 goals in 28 appearances, including a remarkable four-goal match against Botafogo.

In 2010, Dodô transferred to Portuguesa, expressing his desire to finish his career there. He continued to play until 2013, when he last appeared for Grêmio Esportivo Osasco. Following his playing days, Dodô pursued coaching, completing a course with the CBF and beginning his coaching career with Rio Negro.

Legacy

Throughout his career, Dodô earned several personal honors, including being the top scorer in the São Paulo State League in 1997 and the Rio de Janeiro State League in 2006 and 2007. His contributions to Brazilian football, both on and off the pitch, have left a lasting impact, and he remains a respected figure in the sport.
