Ever Antonio Palacios is a Colombian footballer born in Colombia, who has made significant contributions to the sport both as a player and a coach. He began his professional career in 1987 with Deportivo Cali, where he showcased his skills as a defender. Over the years, Palacios played for several clubs, including Atlético Nacional, Junior de Barranquilla, and Boyacá Chicó, where he continued to play into his forties, making him one of the oldest players in Colombian league history.

Career

Palacios's career spanned multiple countries and leagues. After his time at Deportivo Cali, he played for Atlético Nacional from 1998 to 1999, followed by a brief stint at Junior de Barranquilla in 2000. He then moved to Japan, where he played for Shonan Bellmare and Kashiwa Reysol between 2001 and 2004. Upon returning to Colombia, he joined Boyacá Chicó, where he remained until 2011. In addition to his club career, Palacios represented the Colombia national football team, earning caps from 1997 to 1998 and participating in the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
