Passi's professional career began at Montpellier Hérault Sport Club, where he played from 1981 to 1985. He then moved to Toulouse FC, contributing to the team from 1985 to 1990. His talent caught the attention of AS Monaco FC, where he played from 1990 to 1992, achieving notable success, including winning the Coupe de France in 1991 and reaching the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final in 1992. After his stint at Monaco, he continued his career at AS Saint-Étienne from 1992 to 1994 and briefly played for Nagoya Grampus in 1995. On the international stage, Passi represented the France men's national team between 1987 and 1988, showcasing his skills as a midfielder.
