Career

Betinho's professional career kicked off in 1985 with Clube Atlético Juventus, where he played until 1987. He then moved to Cruzeiro E.C., contributing to the team's success from 1988 to 1989. His career continued to flourish as he played for several clubs, including S.C. Internacional, Shonan Bellmare, and Kawasaki Frontale, showcasing his talent in both Brazil and Japan. Notably, he was part of the Brazil men's national football team in 1988, representing his country on the international stage.

Throughout his career, Betinho achieved significant milestones, including winning the Supercopa Libertadores and Campeonato Mineiro with Cruzeiro in 1992, as well as the Emperor's Cup and Asian Cup Winners' Cup with Shonan Bellmare in the mid-1990s.
