FC Nürnberg in Germany, where he played from 2012 to 2014, making 64 appearances and contributing significantly with seven goals and 18 assists.

In 2014, he transferred to Hannover 96, continuing his career in the Bundesliga until 2016, when he signed with La Liga's Sevilla FC. After a brief stint in Spain, Kiyotake returned to Cerezo Osaka in 2017, where he renewed his contract for the 2020 season.
