Early Life

Karol Linetty is a Polish professional footballer born in Poland, who has made a significant impact in the world of football as a midfielder. He began his football journey at a young age, showcasing his talent in various youth teams, including the Poland national under-15, under-17, under-19, and under-21 teams, where he honed his skills and developed a strong foundation for his future career.

Career

Linetty's professional career took off when he joined Lech Poznań in 2012, making his debut on November 2, 2012, against Wisła Kraków. His impressive performances earned him a move to Italy, where he signed with Sampdoria in July 2016. After four successful years, he transferred to Torino FC in September 2020 for a reported fee of €7.5 million. During his time at Torino, he scored his first goal for the club against Roma on November 13, 2023, and extended his contract until June 2025. Following his stint in Italy, Linetty returned to Poland in August 2026, signing a two-year deal with Ekstraklasa club Śląsk Wrocław.

International Career

On the international stage, Linetty made his debut for the Polish senior national team on January 18, 2014, scoring a goal in a match against Norway. He was later selected for the UEFA Euro 2016 and named in Poland's squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, further solidifying his status as a key player for his country.
