Márcio Miranda Freitas Rocha da Silva, commonly known as Marcinho, was born on March 20, 1981, in Campinas, Brazil. He developed a passion for football at a young age, which led him to pursue a career in the sport. His skills as a midfielder and forward quickly became evident, setting the stage for his professional journey.

Career

Marcinho's professional career began in 2000 with Paulista Futebol Clube, where he played until 2001. He then moved to several prominent Brazilian clubs, including S.C. Corinthians Paulista, Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, and Associação Desportiva São Caetano. In 2008, he had a brief stint with the Kashima Antlers in Japan, showcasing his talent on an international stage. After returning to Brazil, he played for various clubs, including Al Ahli FC and Atlético Paranaense, before concluding his playing career with Ituano Futebol Clube in 2014.

In addition to his club career, Marcinho represented Brazil at various youth levels, including the under-20 and under-23 teams, and made a single appearance for the senior national team in 2005 during a friendly match against Guatemala.
