Waldemar Aureliano de Oliveira Filho, commonly known as Mazinho Oliveira, is a retired Brazilian footballer who made a significant impact in the world of football as a forward. Born in Brazil, Mazinho's journey in football began at a young age, showcasing his talent early on in various clubs.

Career

Mazinho's professional career took off in 1985 when he joined Santos F.C., where he played until 1988. He then moved to Esporte Clube São Bento and later to Club Athletico Paranaense, before making a notable stint at Red Bull Bragantino from 1990 to 1991. His career continued to flourish as he played for several prominent clubs, including FC Bayern Munich from 1991 to 1995, where he competed in the Bundesliga, and later for the Kashima Antlers in Japan from 1995 to 1999. In 1995, he had a brief period with Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. Mazinho also represented the Brazil men's national football team between 1990 and 1991, further solidifying his status in the sport.
