Early Life and Career Beginnings

Michael Steveen Estrada Martínez, an Ecuadorian footballer, began his journey in the world of football with Club Social y Deportivo Macará, where he made his senior debut in the Ecuadorian Serie A on March 10, 2013. Despite a challenging start with a 1–0 loss against Barcelona, Estrada quickly established himself as a promising forward. After three seasons with Macará, he transferred to Club Deportivo El Nacional, making an impactful debut on February 7, 2016, by scoring in a victory over Barcelona.

Professional Development

In December 2019, Estrada took a significant step in his career by joining Liga MX side Toluca. His international exposure grew when he moved to Major League Soccer, signing a season-long loan with D.C. United on February 8, 2022. Estrada made an immediate impact, scoring two goals in his debut match against Charlotte FC. However, after a brief stint, he returned to Toluca and later joined Cruz Azul on a loan deal. His journey continued as he signed with PFC CSKA Sofia in 2023, before being announced at Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito in February 2024.

International Career

Estrada's talent has not gone unnoticed on the international stage. He was selected for the Ecuador national team, participating in the 2021 Copa América and later being named in the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He made his World Cup debut in the opening match against Qatar, contributing to Ecuador's 2–0 victory.

Legacy and Honors

As of 2024, Estrada has already begun to carve out a legacy for himself, winning the Ecuadorian Serie A with Liga de Quito in 2024 and the Supercopa Ecuador in 2025. His career continues to flourish as he represents both his club and country with pride.
