Pelle van Amersfoort

Born in Heemskerk, Van Amersfoort is a youth exponent of Heerenveen. He made his Eredivisie debut on 20 September 2014 against Vitesse Arnhem, replacing Morten Thorsby in the 66th minute of a 1–1 draw. For the 2015–16 season, he joined Eerste Divisie club Almere City on loan, making 31 league appearances and scoring 8 goals. He subsequently returned to Heerenveen, where he played for the following three seasons. In July 2019, Van Amersfoort signed for Polish Ekstraklasa club Cracovia. During his three-year tenure in Poland, he scored 22 league goals and contributed to the club's victories in the Polish Cup and Polish Super Cup in 2020. In November 2022, Van Amersfoort returned to Heerenveen on a contract running until mid-2025. He later moved abroad again in July 2024, joining Qatar Stars League side Al Shahaniya. On 7 September 2026, Van Amersfoort transferred to Italian Serie C club Perugia.
