Career

Grabowski's professional career took off when he joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 1965, where he played until 1980. During his time at the club, he became a key player and is often regarded as the greatest player in Eintracht Frankfurt's history. His contributions helped the team secure several prestigious titles, including the UEFA Cup in the 1979-80 season and the DFB-Pokal in 1973-74 and 1974-75.

On the international stage, Grabowski represented West Germany, earning caps from 1966 to 1974. He was part of the squad that won the UEFA European Championship in 1972 and the FIFA World Cup in 1974, solidifying his legacy as a forward who made a significant impact on the game. He also played for various national teams, including the under-21 and under-23 teams, as well as the national amateur team.
