Career
Ohashi began his professional journey in football with Yuasa Batteries and later joined his local club, Toyo Industries. In 1965, Toyo Industries became part of the newly formed Japan Soccer League, where Ohashi made a significant impact. He played as a midfielder and contributed to the club's remarkable success, helping them secure the championship title for three consecutive years from 1965 to 1967. During his brief stint with the Japan men's national football team in 1958, he made his debut at the Asian Games against the Philippines on May 26, showcasing his talent on an international stage.
Coaching Career
After retiring from professional play in 1967, Ohashi transitioned into coaching. In 1971, he took over as the manager of Toyo Industries, succeeding Yukio Shimomura. He led the team until 1975, continuing to influence the sport even after his playing days were over.
