Kimiko Shiratori was born on June 6, 1968, in Japan. From a young age, she showed a passion for football, which would lead her to a notable career in the sport.

Career

Shiratori's football journey began in earnest when she was selected for the Japan women's national football team at just 16 years old in October 1984. This opportunity marked the start of her international career, and she made her debut on October 17, 1984, in a match against Italy. Over the next two years, she played a total of five games for the national team until 1986. In addition to her national team contributions, she also played for Shimizudaihachi Pleiades, further establishing her presence in Japanese women's football.

Though her career was relatively brief, Kimiko Shiratori's early involvement in the national team helped pave the way for future generations of female footballers in Japan, showcasing the potential of women in sports during a time when it was still developing.
