Masatoshi Kushibiki

Early Life

Masatoshi Kushibiki was born in Aomori Prefecture, Japan, where he developed a passion for football from a young age. His journey in the sport began early, leading him to pursue a career as a professional goalkeeper.

Club Career

Kushibiki made his professional debut for Shimizu S-Pulse in the J1 League on March 20, 2013, during a J.League Cup match against Ventforet Kofu, where he played the full 90 minutes in a 1–1 draw. Over the years, he has played for several clubs, including Fagiano Okayama, Montedio Yamagata, Thespa Gunma, and Reilac Shiga FC. In 2016, he joined Kashima Antlers, further solidifying his presence in Japanese football.

National Team Career

In addition to his club commitments, Kushibiki represented Japan at the international level. He was selected for the Japan U-23 national team for the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he participated in a match against Nigeria, showcasing his skills on a global stage. His contributions to both club and country highlight his dedication and talent as a goalkeeper, making him a notable figure in Japanese football.
