Morioka's professional career took off when he joined Vissel Kobe in 2010, where he played for six seasons until 2015. His impressive performances caught the attention of international clubs, leading to his transfer to Śląsk Wrocław in January 2016. On July 6, 2017, he made headlines as Waasland-Beveren's record signing. His time in Belgium continued as he moved to RSC Anderlecht in January 2018 for €2.5 million. After a year, he was loaned to Royal Charleroi S.C., where he was later signed permanently for €1.5 million in mid-2019. Morioka extended his contract with Charleroi until 2024, showcasing his commitment to the club.
