Shiori Miyake

Early Life

Shiori Miyake was born on October 13, 1995, in Sapporo, Japan. From a young age, she showed a passion for football, which led her to join the JFA Academy Fukushima, where she honed her skills and developed her talent as a player.

Career

Miyake's professional career began in 2013 when she joined INAC Kobe Leonessa, a prominent club in the WE League. As a defender, she quickly established herself as a key player for the team, contributing to their success in various competitions. During her time with INAC Kobe Leonessa, she helped the club secure the Nadeshiko League title in 2013, as well as the Empress's Cup in 2015 and 2016.

On the international stage, Miyake's journey began with the Japan U-16 team, where she played a pivotal role in winning the 2011 AFC U-16 Championship. She continued to rise through the ranks, representing the U-17 team at the 2012 U-17 World Cup. Her senior debut came on September 22, 2013, in a match against Nigeria, and since then, she has been a consistent presence in the Japan women's national football team. Notably, she was part of the squad that won the 2018 Asian Cup and was selected for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, showcasing her enduring talent and dedication to the sport.
