Career
Hirasawa's professional career kicked off in 1967 when he joined Kashiwa Reysol, where he played as a midfielder. Over the course of his eleven-year tenure with the club, he made a significant impact, participating in 160 league matches and scoring 20 goals. His contributions helped Kashiwa Reysol secure several prestigious titles, including the Japan Soccer League championship and the Emperor's Cup in 1972, as well as the Emperor's Cup again in 1975 and the JSL Cup in 1976. Hirasawa retired from professional football in 1978.
In addition to his club success, Hirasawa also represented the Japan men's national football team. He made his debut on August 4, 1972, in a match against the Philippines. His international career included participation in the 1974 World Cup qualification and the 1974 Asian Games, where he played a total of 11 matches and scored one goal for his country until 1974.
