Tatsuya Shiji was born on October 20, 1938, in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. He pursued his education at Kwansei Gakuin University, where he not only honed his skills in football but also made a significant mark by winning the 1959 Emperor's Cup as part of the Kwangaku Club, which comprised players from his university.
Playing Career
Shiji's football career took off when he joined the Japan men's national football team in 1961.
