This club was notable for including several future national team players, such as Yukio Goto and Hideo Sakai. In 1934, Abe achieved a significant milestone by being selected for the Japan men's national football team, participating in the Far Eastern Championship Games held in Manila. During this tournament, he made his debut on May 13, 1934, against the Dutch East Indies and played again on May 15 against the Philippines, totaling two appearances for his national team in that year.
