In June 1998, he signed with Sanfrecce Hiroshima, contributing to the team's success as they finished in second place at the 1999 Emperor's Cup. He made his debut on July 8, 1994, in a match against Ghana and participated in the 1995 King Fahd Cup, earning a total of four caps for his country until 1995.
