Career

Miyaji played as a midfielder for the Japan men's national football team in 1925. His club career included a stint with Osaka SC, where he was part of a talented group of players, including notable names like Yoshimatsu Oyama and Uichiro Hatta. In May 1925, he was selected to represent Japan in the Far Eastern Championship Games held in Manila. During this tournament, he made his debut on May 17 against the Philippines, followed by a match against the Republic of China on May 20. Unfortunately, Japan faced defeats in both matches, losing 0-4 to the Philippines and 0-2 to the Republic of China. Despite the losses, Miyaji's participation marked a significant milestone in his football career, as he played two international matches for his country in that year.
