Donald-Olivier Sié is an Ivorian former professional footballer, born in Ivory Coast, who made a significant impact in the world of football as a midfielder. His career spanned over a decade, during which he represented both club and country with distinction.

Career

Sié began his professional journey with ASEC Mimosas, where he played from 1995 to 1996. He then had a brief stint with Nagoya Grampus in Japan before returning to ASEC Mimosas for another season (1997-1998). His career continued to flourish as he joined Toulouse FC (1998-1999) and Racing Club de France (1999-2000). In 2000, he signed with Stade de Reims, where he played until 2001. Following his time in France, Sié moved to Jeunesse sportive cugnalaise, where he played from 2001 until 2010, marking the end of his professional playing days.

Sié was also a key player for the Ivory Coast men's national football team, earning caps from 1990 to 2000. He participated in five Africa Cup of Nations tournaments (1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, and 2000), showcasing his skills on an international stage. His contributions were instrumental in helping the Ivory Coast secure the African Cup of Nations title in 1992.
